That Terminus is harassing Shadow?
Of course he’s in love; he’s here to take back his girlfriend—and-soon-to-be wife. And you’d better not lay a finger on him, or Shadow will make you regret it.
Lady Blackheart (his Mum) will have first shot!
Then (if Shadow’s really lucky) Shadow gets to beat on the remains.
It’s funny, the phraseology of “human being” is not something we ever use for any other kind of being, in fiction or otherwise… yet we often have fictional nonhumans using it for us.
